On Sunday LA Galaxy played Seattle Sounders. It was new Galaxy designated player Giovani Dos Santos who stole the show, making his debut, assisting a goal and scoring one of his own.
Sounders got off to the more impressive start as Chad Barrett was able to score in just 51 seconds after a good finish. Putting them 1-0 up.
However, Zardes had other ideas when he equalised in the 12th minute, with an outside of the boot finish.
Although both sides came close to scoring up to half time, the sides went in level. Galaxy's Robbie Keane broke the deadlock, just after half time when he was able to turn in a scrappy ball.
Then Giovani stepped up as he was able to pounce on a missed pass by Sounders in order to score his first goal for the club, sending the match to 3-1.
It was Seattle who came closest next but Robbie Rogers was able to clear the ball of the line.
The match ended 3-1 to LA Galaxy. Which keeps them in 2nd while Seattle are in 6th in the Western Conference.
