Chicago Red Stars

The return of USWNT striker Christen Press (who was certainly a break out player for the US throughout the World Cup) has been great for the team with her 6 goals in just 5 games she's played so far. Despite dropping down a place in the league table - Seattle Reignt taking their place - they are still one of the strongest teams having only lost one match throughout the entire tournament.

FC Kansas City

Kansas currently find themselves fifth in the table and so will be hoping to score a few more points and work their way up. With the return of US World Cup Winner Lauren Holiday and the likes of top goalscorer of the team and forward Shea Groom, they have the opportunity to make it a difficult match for Chicago. And what more reason could they need to bring a fight than to avenge their previous 2-1 loss to them?

The game kicks off on August 1st at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Centre at 7pm local time. We predict Chicago Red Stars 1-1 FC Kansas City.
